Pittsburgh Modular Teases New Standalone Sequencer Before Superbooth

Synth heads from all over the world are eagerly preparing to gather at the FEZ convention center in Berlin from May 3-5 for Superbooth—the annual trade show dedicated to synthesizer manufacturers and enthusiasts. As we've seen in the past with NAMM and other shows in the MI industry, brands start teasing out new gear releases in the days leading up to the show, and lucky for us synth fans, Superbooth is no different.

The newest teaser comes from Pittsburgh Modular by way of FACT, who reported that the company had posted a teaser video of the new Electronic Sequence Designer on its Instagram profile ahead of the show.

According to the post, the new Electronic Sequence Designer is a four-channel, 32 step sequencer, with controls for changing musical scales and randomizing and reversing notes alongside CV inputs. This unit mark Pittsburgh Modular's second standalone product, with its first being the Microvolt 3900 that the company unveiled at NAMM this past January.

For those faithful to the company for its Eurorack roots, don't fret. Earlier today, Pittsburg Modular posted another teaser on its Instagram—this time, for a new Lifeforms Primary Oscillator module.
