I believe this was originally a FireWire interface and was upgraded with the TB3 PCI option card which is cool because it means someone absolutely loved this thing as it could have just gone to TB 1/2, a bit cheaper. (EDIT/Update it was most likely a TB 1/2 unit originally so the TB3 wasn’t even really necessary just done out of love apparentl)
From the research I’ve done even as a second hand owner you should be eligible to get the UAD2 (unison) plugins that originally came with it once you register it in UA Connect. Obviously don’t absolutely take my word on that because I’m not completely sure, thats just what I was told. If it is true, man they are some absolute bangers. I’d kill to have some of these even just as standalone plugs.
