The Yamaha DX11 is an 8 voice 4-op FM synthesizer. Unlike previous DX synths which used sine waves for synthesis, the DX11 offers up to eight different waveforms. Users can assign different patches across various zones on the key bed, making the DX11 a multi-timbral synthesizer.
