Presenting the Rickenbacker Sea Nymph Psychedelic Bass, a totally stunning one off 4003 .. just look at it!
Custom made everything, this nearly 40 year old vintage rickenbacker bass was custom painted by Corey Keller of Santa cruz California with Windsor and Newton type AA lightfast alkyd pigments with two light coats of clear shellac then 9 coats of McFadden nitrocellulose
The neck shaft is 10 coats of hand buffed birch wood - Casey.
The fingerboard finish is the existing original finish by Rickenbacker.
The bass not only looks incredible it plays sublime, perfect action and it glides up and down the beautifully aged fingerboard.
It sounds just like a classic Rickenbacker bass should .. beautiful with its original 4001 mono style 1960 or rose Morris export circuitry
Comes in it’s original rickenbacker hard case with a light blue genuine suede strap that matches the bass colour also with attached strap locks as you are going to want to take this one out for people to see.
Also a clear thumb rest is included which fits between 2 existing screws on the custom made clear plexi pickguards.
