Fastback Guitars, Fastback '52

First off, let's talk about how acoustically resonant this guitar is. The premium ash body has clear acoustic projection and a midrange bark when unplugged that translates very well through the pickups. The first thing we do is play it acoustically and let's just say that this Tele® is the Martin D-28 of electric guitars. Of course this projection is aided by a string through body and threaded steel bridge saddles that produce a tone that exceeds expectations.

The maple neck has a chunky C profile that fills the palm well and plays very comfortably. The neck also features a set of 6105 medium jumbo fretwire and TonePros Kluson style tuning machines. The instrument is finished in nitro lacquer with a gloss finish on the body and a nicely worn in feeling satin finish neck. The Fastback '52 is a real looker!!

Fastback Custom Guitars also come stock with "Mike & Mike's Guitar Guards," which are made from recycled vinyl LPs! These pickguards are hand-cut and lovingly shaped for a true-to-spec fit. Edges are sanded smooth, lightly beveled and polished to a 1950′s Bakelite sheen, and great care is taken to ensure a perfect, tight fit with all components. As an added bonus, the record labels are individually lacquered to ensure that they weathers even aggressive picking technique with aplomb!  This guitar come with gig bag.
