Seventy Seven Exrubato Standard II 2010 Cherry Red - Klein PAFs

This is a 2010 Seventy Seven Exrubato Standard II in Cherry Red - a 335 by any other name - with Klein 'Semi Hollow' PAFs. It is in full working order and good condition - comes with the OHSC and accessories.

It is a really well-built guitar - Seventy Seven (one of the brands under the Deviser/Headway umbrella company), have an excellent reputation for build quality and this is no exception; the wood selection, attention to detail, aesthetics, tone and playability are all excellent.

It has a mahogany neck with rosewood fingerboard, medium frets and a chunky, '58 style C profile (around 0.90" at the 1st fret), block fingerboard inlays, maple top, back and sides, and a weight-relieved maple centre-block - making this very light for a semi-hollow, with exceptional resonance and acoustic tone.

The Klein PAFs are specially voiced for semi-hollow guitars, measuring about 7.4K at the neck and 7.8K at the bridge. They are bright, dynamic PAFs that perfectly suit the natural voice of the guitar. The trapeze tailpiece gives it a ringing, vibrant tone, and the guitar has lots of harmonic depth, sustain, and a lively, responsive feel.

The hardware is Gotoh, the pots are CTS, with Switchcraft switch and oil in paper caps.

It shows average wear for it's age - light player's wear and some slight tarnishing to the metal parts - but no major dings and nothing through the finish.

The frets show only light wear and are at least 90% intact.
