About this listing
The Warm Audio Retro 64 Dynamic Microphone brings vintage broadcast attitude to the modern stage, pairing unmistakable 1960s-inspired styling with a sound profile tuned for today’s demanding live environments. Designed for performers and engineers who want something visually iconic without sacrificing reliability, the Retro 64 delivers focused, confident sound night after night. Built around a custom-tuned dynamic capsule, the Retro 64 emphasizes the upper midrange where vocals and instruments naturally cut through a mix, while gently controlling high frequencies to reduce feedback and harshness. Its cardioid pattern provides excellent off-axis rejection, making it an easy fit on loud stages, in rehearsal spaces, or in broadcast settings. From lead and backing vocals to guitar cabinets, snare, and live acoustic instruments, the Retro 64 offers a familiar, trusted response that front-of-house engineers can rely on. The rugged metal housing draws inspiration from classic broadcast microphones renowned for their near-indestructible construction, while modern internal engineering adds an integrated shockmount to protect the capsule from handling noise and stage abuse. Like all Warm Audio products, each Retro 64 is hand-tested and inspected, ensuring consistent performance and long-term durability backed by Warm Audio’s industry-leading warranty.
