The mahogany body features a maple top with a quilted maple veneer, whilst the glued, multi-piece maple neck, with its Wide SVN Thin profile, offers ideal conditions for precise playing and low tunings thanks to an extended 26.5-inch scale length, a flat 20-inch fingerboard radius and 24 frets. Sound is delivered by the two Seymour Duncan Mark Holcomb ‘Scourge’ and ‘Scarlet’ humbuckers, which are controlled via a 3-way blade switch as well as volume and push/pull tone controls. A solid PRS Plate Style string-through bridge, black hardware and PRS-designed tuners complete the specification, which is designed for high tuning stability and direct response, whilst a robust .010–.064 string set provides the ideal conditions straight from the factory for the seven-string standard tuning from low B to E.
