About this listing
A true vintage Martin from 1974, this D-18 has over 50 years of playing and aging behind it. The D-18 needs no introduction — solid mahogany back and sides paired with a solid Sitka spruce top, delivering the warm, woody, powerful dreadnought tone that made the model a legend. Decades of aging have only deepened the resonance and added that unmistakable vintage character no new guitar can fake. Comes with a hard case and an LR BAggs Pickup ready to gig.Serial # 348992Specifications:Top: Solid Sitka spruceBack & sides: Solid genuine mahoganyNeck: One-piece mahogany, 14-fret dovetail jointFingerboard: Indian rosewood, 20 frets, dot inlaysBridge: Rosewood belly bridgeScale length: 25.4", nut width 1-11/16"Bracing: Standard non-scalloped X-bracing, 5/16"Body: D-14 fret dreadnoughtTrim: Multi-stripe rosette and top inlay, black pickguardChrome Grover TunersProfessionally installed LR Baggs pickup systenCondition: Very Good.
