About this listing
A masterpiece from the Martin Custom Shop! In a corner of the Nazareth factory in the U.S., there is a gCustom Shoph staffed by a small team of elite craftsmen. It primarily handles custom orders from individuals and dealers, and this particular instrument is one of them. Features such as the [000 Slotted Head, Sunburst Finish, Herringbone Trim] are sure to catch your eye right away! The body is an all-solid 000 (Triple-O), featuring Sitka spruce on the top and rosewood on the sides and back. The top features scalloped X-bracing and is adorned with an ebony pyramid bridge, herringbone trim, and an abalone rosette. The V-shape neck, with a nut width of just under 50 mm, a 12th-fret joint, and a 25.4" long scale, features an ebony fingerboard. The slotted headstock is equipped with WAVERLY open-gear tuners. The body has a gloss finish, while the neck has a satin finish. Made in the USA Serviced at a renowned guitar workshop! The neck angle has been adjusted, the fingerboard has been repaired, the frets have been replaced (Jesscar Vintage), and the nut and saddle have been replaced (cowbone); loose binding has also been repaired. There is still room to adjust the truss rod, and since the frets have been replaced, there is ample height remaining. The body top has scattered fine dents, scuffs, and scratches. There is a slight step at the joint between the binding, the endpiece, and the body. There is slight stand burn on the back of the neck (near the 9th fret). A gap has developed at the joint between the fingerboard and the neck due to age. The headstock has scattered dents and minor chips in the satin finish. There are also minor scratches scattered throughout, but since it has been serviced, playability is excellent! The deep, rich sound produced by the 12th-fret joint and slotted headstock resonates with truly rich character! The immersive sustain is incredibly pleasant, and you can fully appreciate its qualities whether strumming or fingerstyle!
