It is ULTRA RARE, it is almost impossible to buy it at second hand anywhere, especially in Europe!

I am selling VERY collectible Callaham Stratocaster 50's made by legendary Bill Callaham.

That's right - the same Bill Callaham who is known to the wider public as the top and probably the most respected supplier of hardware for Stratocaster and Telecaster guitars. His parts are used in Fender Masterbuilt, Custom Shops, SVL, TMG etc.

The guitar has the best classic specification and of course was made in the USA in Virginia.

The most valuable investment-wise classic specification with tremolo.

Produced in 1996.

Few people know that Bill Callaham also made his own instruments to special order, which had to be waited for on average 3-3.5 years from the moment of order. Bill Callaham fulfilled the last order for a guitar about 11 years ago. Since then he has only been involved in the production of hardware.

The guitar was made to special order in terms of the selection of exceptional quality and appearance of a single piece of swamp ash on a body with a central, dense and parallel grain.

As ordered, the buyer could not imagine covering such an outstanding looking piece of swamp ash, so the guitar was finished with a thin, colorless NITRO lacquer, which over time yellowed in a vintage way and gained a shade slightly towards transparent blonde.

I personally imported it many years ago from the USA and from that moment on it was my reference maple Stratocaster for all kinds of comparisons with Fender originals from the 60s, Fender Custom Shop, Masterbuilt, Wildwood, Ltd Edition, TMG, SVL, LSL, Haar, Kauffmann, M.B. Guitars, Kelton Swade etc.

The guitar is 100% original.

Pickups are a custom-made set for Bill Callaham's Strat by Lindy Fralin - Lindy Fralin Callaham Strat set. The magic of the sound of these pickups is that Callaham requested that the pickups he ordered be frozen and thawed (something like the Kelton Swade idea).

In any case, there is no physical possibility to buy these pickups other than with a Callaham Strat guitar, unless someone removed them from the Callaham Strat and sold them separately on the secondary market.

The guitar had the entire set of potentiometers replaced for hand-selected CTS with a tolerance of up to 8% for convenience. The working originals are included but in one a pin is broken. Anyway, it can be fixed.

Soundwise, it's top class - the guitar is very loud and ultra wide even unplugged.

When plugged in, it's a marriage of vintage sound, with a lot of rasp, crunch and dirt with a nice punch. Some of the best Strat sound which I've heard in my life. Great both on clean and overdrive. The guitar has a powerful, springy and fast bass, so it will work even in hard rock and in down tunings

You have to hear it to understand. This is a different dimension of the sound of a pure maple Strat.

Most of the Fender Masterbuilts that were matched 1 to 1 to it in the same conditions in terms of character were not even next to it.

The guitar has slight signs of use for years of touring, nothing serious. There is one dent on the fretboard which does not Just natural relic due to almost 30 years of playing;)

The guitar comes with its original hard case, tremolo arm, back cover and information from the previous 1st owner etc.

Mentioning that it is a collector's item is like saying nothing.

Classic Callahams appear on world markets on average once every 2-3 years. We are talking about the world market here, not the Polish or European market;)
