This 2003 Custom Shop Thunderbird bass was built for a Hawiian Tropic suntan lotion ad. The bass appears unplayed & near mint. It comes with all the custom shop paperwork & cord along with a COA & a photo of the Hawiian Tropic ad which features 3 Gibsons (I wonder where the other 2 are?). The finish on this bass is most likely a 1 off. It is gorgeous but unable to capture in photos it is much more vibrant in person. No bird on guard? As issued (see ad photo). The bass comes in it's original hard shell case also in great condition. Like all other Custom Shops the bass plays incredible. They made very few thunderbirds in the custom shop in the past & they don't make them now. If you are outside the USA please email for shipping quote. Thanks for looking.
