These are a pair of a legendary HiFi tube EQ circuit. E Q P 1 A
I spent over $6,000 in the highest quality parts and spent 30 hours building, inspecting and testing them! The units are overbuilt with high quality wire, solder and turret boards for QUALITY connections.
Inside are:
CineMag CMLI-4x150D input, Sowter 1475 (HS-29 repro) interstage and CineMag CM-S217D (legendary Peerless S-217-D repro) output transformers, as well as a CineMag CML-150T tapped inductor. CineMag inductor, input & Sowter interstage transformers are encased in Mu-metal cans (steel for the CM-S217D) for optimal noise reduction. These transformers are huge and the absolute best components available.
These units sound so fantastic and have been used on many recordings/mixes. Including a mix that earned a RIAA Gold Record.
These units are based on the original circuits and they are sooooo smooth. No BS.
My tech just went through everything to make sure that they're working in 100% condition.
I'm only selling these because i'm changing my equipment from studio focus to touring focus so I don't want to bring hi-fi tube circuits with me.
These EQ’s sound so amazing, just like vintage versions. The silky top end is simply beautiful.
