Schecter Stiletto Studio-8 Electric Bass in Honey Satin
The Stiletto Studio-8 delivers a compact, ergonomic playing experience across its extended 8-string range without compromising on the familiar feel that traditional bass players expect. Neck-thru construction with Ultra Access design ensures effortless reach to the upper frets, while the thin 'C' neck profile and 34" scale remain comfortable during extended sessions. This is serious professional equipment built for players who demand extended range and creative tuning options with genuine playability.
Playability & Construction
The maple/walnut multi-ply neck with rosewood fretboard and abalone offset dot inlays supports 24 X-Jumbo frets on a 16" radius, enabling fast positioning and smooth bends across all eight strings. At the 1st fret the neck measures .787" thick, tapering to .866" at the 12th fret—a balanced profile that minimizes fatigue. The Graph Tech XL Black Tusq nut (1.574" width) and 2-way adjustable truss rod ensure stable tuning and precise action adjustment across the extended range.
Tone & Electronics
Dual EMG 35HZ active pickups paired with master volume, blend, and 3-band active EQ deliver aggressive, articulate tone with broad frequency shaping capability. The 18-volt battery compartment provides consistent headroom and dynamic response, while the Diamond Custom Bass bridge with satin gold hardware maintains clean sustain and reliable intonation across all eight strings.
