ProMark JW4 Jim Wunderlich “System Blue” Medium Hard Marimba Mallets (Pair)
The ProMark JW4 mallets, part of the Jim Wunderlich Signature "System Blue" series, offer medium-hard articulation with a focused yet warm tone across the marimba. Designed by internationally respected front ensemble educator and designer Jim Wunderlich, these mallets are crafted for both indoor concert literature and high-demand outdoor marching environments.
The JW4 features a round synthetic core with brass inserts for enhanced projection and balanced weight distribution. A latex layer beneath the synthetic yarn wrap provides additional warmth and tonal depth. The lacquered birch handles offer a silky-smooth finish similar to rattan but with greater durability and less flexibility.
