The Meinl B22DUCR Byzance Dual Crash-Ride Hybrid is a 22" crash ride hybrid, extra dry, made of B20 bronze, from a hand hammered construction with a hybrid finish. The Extra Dry cymbals from the Meinl Byzance series are distinguished by particularly deep, earthy and slightly trashy sounds. They are very dry and produce a very short sustain. Different sized hammer blows cause an irregular compression of the material, which gives the sound more complexity and shortens the sustain. The different surfaces of the dual crash rides can be used as a different game zone for ride patterns and crash sounds.
