The EHX LPB-1 Linear Power Booster is one of the most influential guitar effects ever produced. Originally introduced in 1968, it was among the very first standalone boost pedals and helped lay the foundation for the overdrive sounds that would define modern electric guitar. This vintage USA-made version retains the simple, effective design that made the LPB-1 a classic.
Featuring a single Boost control, the LPB-1 delivers a clean gain increase that can be used to drive an amplifier harder, add sustain, increase overall volume, or push other pedals further into saturation. Its straightforward one-transistor circuit preserves the character of your guitar and amplifier while adding extra output and punch, making it equally effective as an always-on enhancer or a solo boost.
Vintage LPB-1 units are highly regarded for their historical significance, original USA construction, and distinctive early Electro-Harmonix design. Please note that this unit has a hole drilled in the enclosure.
