Parker Fly Artist, Custom (Odin)

All original and near mint condition ! This piece of Parker history has been well cared for, rarely taken out of the case, and stored in a smoke-free, climate-controlled home.

The Backstory:
The Norse Flys were originally a custom-ordered set of 4 guitars with rare specs that most of the production models did not have: fixed bridge, metallic colors with satin finish, matching head stock veneer and streamlined controls with completely passive electronics. The original owner was the photo curator of the online Parker Forum, where he compiled a complete library of each unique Parker guitar finish. Having such enthusiasm for the Fly guitar and their finishes, he decided to create his own pallet of finishes/body woods for each of his custom-ordered Flys: Thor (Forrest Green / Mahogany), Odin (Tangerine/Spruce), Loki (Italian Plum/Cedar) and Sigrun (Gold/Maple). Only 1 of each model was ever produced.

The "Odin" is made of Spruce and Basswood and is similar to the hardtail Artist production model, one of the most sought-after Fly models ever.

Something very special about the satin finish makes this guitar extremely comfortable to play, in fact, I've owned 7 Parker Fly's, and this is by far the most ergonomic, feels like an extension of your arms !

Ships with a Parker Hiscox Liteflight Pro II molded hard shell case. Also included is: paperwork, bullwinkle hanger and tools.
