She has a lovely personality...
Here is a rather trashed (in a good way) all tube Pineco/Pepco combo. Pineco made amps out of Montreal throughout the 1960's and into the 1970's. The circuit is similar to early Valco Supros.
It's officially rated 8 watts and meant as a bass combo but it's really a guitar amp. This one is especially rare among Pinecos. It's bigger with a higher quality build. It sports a 115 period speaker, 3 input jacks and a tubed tremolo circuit. It's all original except for an output jack to run an external cab. The tolex is, well, half gone but the grill clothe and handle are intact and the bin itself is rock solid. Everything is tested and working as it should.
The sound is gritty blues/garage rock. The 15" speaker provides a big, robust sound with plenty of bottom end. It's clean until about two o'clock and then breaks up nicely. These are sought after by slide and harmonica players due to their authentic, vintage tones and warm, gritty breakup.
