Selling this beautiful musicmaster bass from late 71/ Early 72, one of the very first of its kind.
Everything is original:
- neck shows 18 December 1971,
- pots shows 16th week of 1971,
- pickup shows first week of 1972.
The bass is complete with its original thumb rest. Original finish shows a lot of time signatures.
Unfortunately the truss rod turns loose. It seems to be broken at the head, without any damage on the wood. The neck is straight, no wrap, no bump and the frets are still in excellent shape. The bass doesn’t make any sounds electronic wise. Maybe the solder needs some cleaning, maybe the pickup needs a rewinding.
I don’t have the time and the ressource right now to gave this beauty its original glory, maybe you do!
Sold as is, no return. Offers are welcome.
