Technics SL-1210 MK5 - awesome, tuned up

Technics SL-1210 MK5 upgraded to M5G -  unique unit in great condition.

MK5 is the best Technics period. Its analog pitch is superior and more precise than the digital pitch implemented model M5G. The sound is better than current offerings by Technics, as it benefits from a heavier base. MK5 is an unsurpassed dj deck and a dream to play.

However we liked some of the M5G niceties so we took our three MK5 decks to a pro Technics mod service, and they did the magic:

- Blue led lights instead of standard bulbs
- M5G model glossy black finish
- Upgraded audio cable with gold plated RCA
- External resistor mod to extend the pitch range up to +/- 16 (see pic)
It goes under the deck, it can be removed if desired.
