The Clean is a tube preamp in pedal format, made in France, designed to reproduce the tones of large, high-headroom American amps, in the spirit of the Fender Blackface and Twin Reverb. Part of the "Le Preamp" series, it incorporates a genuine 12AX7/ECC83 tube operating at high voltage (200V), offering dynamics and response very close to a real tube amp. It features two independent channels that can be used separately or combined using the Fusion mode, allowing for everything from a crystal-clear clean tone to a light crunch. Its comprehensive EQ, effects loop, XLR output with Torpedo cabinet simulation, headphone output, MIDI connectivity, and numerous routing options make it an excellent preamp for stage, studio, or direct use with an audio interface.
