Comments:
This 2018 Gretsch Black Falcon reimagines Gretsch's flagship Falcon design in an elegant gloss black finish while preserving the model's unmistakable luxury appointments. The Falcon family originated in the mid-1950s as Gretsch's premier showcase instrument and has since become one of the company's most recognisable and prestigious guitar lines. By 2018, the G6136T-BLK featured modern Player's Edition refinements aimed at contemporary performers, while retaining the classic Falcon identity through its large laminated maple hollow body, gold hardware, ebony fingerboard, Bigsby vibrato and Filter'Tron-style pickups. Built at the highly regarded Terada factory in Japan, these instruments are widely respected for their craftsmanship, consistency and attention to detail, and they have become popular across genres including rock, country, rockabilly, jazz and alternative music for their distinctive appearance and articulate, dynamic sound.
