Up for sale is this vintage AKG D12. This model was labled under WSW (Wiener Schwachstrom Werke), but unlike some other OEM versions it is just a normal D12 with Bass chamber and wired for 200 ohm low impedance.it is an early version with solid brass frame, so probably 50ies or 60ies, before they switched to plastic. Solid design - except for the capsules, which are broken on 90% of all D12‘s of that era. This mic has been restored with new high quality Sommer cable, Neutrik XLR-connector and new wind screen. The capsule has been repaired and tuned by Esa Tervala in Switzerland. The mic has been tested & sounds within the tolerances and is therefore up to specs. The mic comes in a custom made padded wooden box. Soundfiles can be provided if wanted.
