This Hamer Californian was built in the late 80's for guitarist Lyle Workman , who has a long history of  writing for Film and Television , and as an ace session guitarist and sideman ( Todd Rundgren, Frank Black, Beck, Sting etc....). This beauty has a 2 piece quilted maple body and 3 piece flame maple neck with an ebony fingerboard. The bridge Duncan Pickup was added in the early 2000's by the 2nd owner.  The frets have minor wear, and the guitar is in overall very good to excellent condition with very little finish crazing on the back.  It weighs 8 pounds and comes with the original case.  An exceptional shred machine from Hamer's heyday.
