Welcome,
This is a rare first edition original 1960's Eko Rio Bravo in sunburst - a seldom seen example of Eko's first attempt at a deluxe series of guitars, as disinguished from the more pedestrian Ranger models that are much more common.
Condition is described as 'Fair'.
There are some cosmetic weatherings as pictured.
There are some issues described below, the next one of these will likely be worse so don't be put off by this!
We have lightly restored this piece with a professional setup and restring.
Some additional fretwork is needed, and we will do it at cost, otherwise now out of time on the old dear after completing the setup and restring, so over to you.
These are actually very nice guitars with a well rounded characterful Gibson derived tone, this one sounds great and looks very authentic.
Project or player?
Enjoy!
Issues
The neck has a kick at the higher frets, so the guitar is not playable after the 12th fret due to fret-out, this can be cleared by raising the action, otherwise plays well up to the 12th fret.
Pickguard appears to have been re-glued, is slightly uneven in places
Machine heads are replacements
Frets show minor indentations at first position
