Fender Precision 1983 Black With Hardshell Case

Condition
Over all this is a great example of a Fullerton Plant (Fender - CBS Era) bass. 

Body
Light swirling on the front of the body. Some light buckle rash on the back. Some chipped paint on the arm cutout of the back side. Not really visible from the front of the bass. The bass is routed for a 9 volt on the back.

Neck
Maple on maple neck. Frets are in good shape. Low action and currently wearing flat wound strings.

Electronics and Hardware
The pickups and pots have been converted to Bill Lawrence active Ps. P-46. It is standard with four conductor wires for multi-sound wiring options and comes with mounting screws. Your choice of pick guards (Tort, White or Gold). All other hardware is original.

Playability
Low action and it plays great. The sound of the bass is very clean deep. Nice even tone across all strings. Fat sounding pickup, but with NO loss of clarity and punch.
