About this listing
This Tascam Portastudio 424 (From the JHS 424 Videos) is owned by Josh Scott.A Tascam Portastudio 424, the four track cassette recorder that defined a generation of home recordings and lo fi records. This is the actual 424 from the JHS videos when the 424 Gain Stage pedal was released, so it comes with a piece of JHS history attached. Minor cosmetic wear here and there, but overall it is in pretty great shape for its age. Comes with the power supply, which has tape and glue all over it and was probably slightly damaged at some point, so give it a once over before trusting it long term. For the lo fi recordist or the JHS fan who wants the real thing from the video. All Items in The Josh Scott Collection Official Reverb Shop ship fully insured and include a certificate of authenticity that is signed by Josh. Proceeds from every sale in this shop go to Art House Grandview, Josh’s local nonprofit art center.
