The later R70 model of the Ross Phase Distortion came in a black or white casing.
Not to be confused with the first version of the Ross Phase Distortion that came in a purple casing, with the earliest specimens reading "D/P Combination" rather than Phase Distortion. It had an "Intensity" knob instead of "Recycle."
