There are few electric guitars that can be said to be as classic or legendary as the Les Paul model from the American manufacturer Gibson. The 1957 Les Paul Goldtop Darkback Reissue VOS Double Gold is a historically authentic "reissue" model from the Gibson Custom Shop, which returns to the design from 1957. The solid mahogany body is decorated with a two-piece maple top (plain maple) and a Double Gold color finish. The special VOS (Vintage Original Specs) finish gives the guitar an authentic look and feel of the originals. A rosewood fingerboard with twenty-two frets (Historic Gibson Narrow/Tall) is glued to the mahogany neck. Position blocks (Aged Cellulose Nitrate Trapezoid) make it easier to navigate the surface of the fingerboard.The sound of the instrument is provided by two Custombucker Alnico III humbuckers. Two volume potentiometers, two tone diaphragms and a three-position pickup switch are used to adjust the sound. Stable tuning is guaranteed by the fastening of the strings in the Kluson Single Line tuners and through the ABR-1 bridge in the tailpiece. The period authenticity is underlined by all the materials/components used and their processing. The guitar is delivered in a case together with a certificate of authenticity.Weight: 3.8 kg
