Produced during the late Norlin era from 1982 to 1984, it was part of the "American Series," designed to compete with popular bolt-on neck guitars of the time. Its radically asymmetrical solid hardwood body features a deep offset V-cut at the tail. While marketing claimed the silhouette resembled a "crow in flight" (Corvus is Latin for crow), it is more commonly known by collectors under the affectionate nicknames "the can opener" or the "Pac-Man guitar"Specifications & ConfigurationElectronics: Equipped with two Gibson humbucking pickups (often attributed to Bill Lawrence designs), controlled by dual volume knobs, a master tone knob, and a three-way pickup selector switch.
