The Epiphone EJ-200SCE (also known as the J-200 EC Studio) is an iconic Super Jumbo acoustic-electric guitar. Often called the "King of the Flat-Tops," it delivers the legendary aesthetic and bold acoustic voice of the Gibson J-200 at an affordable price point. 

Key Specs & Features

• Body Shape: Super Jumbo with a Venetian cutaway for easy upper-fret access.
• Woods: Solid Spruce top, layered maple back and sides, and a maple neck.
• Fretboard: Pau ferro (formerly rosewood) featuring pearloid "Crown" inlays.
• Hardware: Gold Grover Rotomatic tuners (18:1 ratio) and a classic Moustache bridge.
• Electronics: Features a dual-pickup system (usually Shadow or Fishman) with an onboard preamp and built-in tuner. 

Tone & Playability

Because of its large body, the EJ-200SCE produces a loud, rumbling bass response with bright, articulate trebles and strong mids. While its large frame takes some getting used to, the 1960s SlimTaper D-shaped neck is known to be very comfortable and beginner-friendly.
