Yamaha LP 1000 guitar made in Japan from 1983. Structurally, it is in perfect condition, with aesthetic wear on the paint due to the passage of time. Everything works perfectly, and it has just been set up.
It features an ABR-1 style bridge screwed to the body, with Spinex pickups.
The body is made of a solid single piece of mahogany, and the neck is also made of a single piece of mahogany with an ebony fretboard.
The body is made of solid mahogany from a single block of wood, without any weight relief, and weighs a solid 4.4 kg (9.7 lb).
These guitars are a replica of the Gibson Les Paul Custom from the late 50s and early 60s, a period considered the best in terms of Gibson's craftsmanship. This guitar was built in 1983, at a time when Gibson was going through one of its worst production periods. In contrast, Japan sought to set itself apart and refocus on doing things right, aiming to restore the quality that had been lost.
