Ok Fender Nation…Very cool and fairly rare bird due to the Dakota Red finish… and bound neck like the 65 beauties we all love.. this collectors series is BOSS!
You actually see Gold and Black more often than these Red jewels!!
Original bass, with the exception of the neck plate (no tilt) & tweed hardshell case.
Action is amazing and the bass plays and feels incredible.. we’re talking “classic” jazz feel, response and tone we all crave!
Still looks great. Retains TONS of stage appeal and still has that “thing” going on FO SHO!!!
Now, it does have nicks and dings.. some weather checking and varnish cracks on the back… some scuffs and missing finish on the bottom bout.. character baby… still looks BALLS!!
This has quite a few pre CBS attributes and is a KILLER mixture of two different killer Fender eras…60’s meets 80’s!!
