1967 VOX V269 Starstream - Sunburst incl. orig. hardshell case
1967 Vox V269 Starstream in Sunburst finish, which was built by VOX only between 1967 and 1968. The Starstream had a unique teardrop shaped body but the electronics were even more unsual: with a built in E-tuner, distortion booster, treble and bass booster, wah-wah and repeat percussion effect - all powered by a 9V battery accessed through a circular snap-on pad at the back of the body. Pickups were two Vox Ferro-Sonic single coil units. The instrument is in excellent condition for its age and all original, except for one exchanged tuner. Only very minor playwear, lightweight, the bolt-on, slim maple neck with bound rosewood fretboard features 21 frets, which are still in perfect condition and offers great playbility. Nice and afordable vintage guitar in superb condition. Incl. original grey VOX oval-case.
