Vox V269 Starstream XII 1967 Sunburst

It's time to part with my Vox Starstream XII 12 string guitar.

Set up as a 6 string, plays and sounds great. All 12 tuning pegs are there, original and functional. Neck is straight, frets are appear to be original and still have life (plays no problem as it is). No bubbling on the headstock, scratchplate is original and hasn't shrunk, and there are no cracks in the fingerboard (all common on these guitars). The truss rod functional. As a player the guitar is good to go.
In terms of cosmetic condition, some of the knobs are missing labels, and the wah lever is missing. The plastic pad on the back of the guitar is missing several screws. Although the guitar is beautiful from the front, sadly the guitar was obviously dropped at some point in its life, cracking the thick plastic lacquer, and damaging the binding. Also the binding is slightly coming away inside the F-hole. A good luthier could fix this up guitar up cosmetically very easily. Please observe the photos, it's all there with no hidden nasty surpises. 

The effects are all working  except for the E Tuner, which is pretty useless anyway (if it was working, it would just omit a high pitch noise in the key of E when the volume of the guitar is turned down).   As usual with these guitars the Repeat effect is quiet. The wah works well. The fuzz and treble/bass boost sound amazing but the output level is a little low.

The guitar comes in an old unoriginal hard case. The handle on the case is an accident waiting to happen. The case smells of stale tobacco, so if you are very particular about cigarette smoke please refrain from purchasing this guitar. I'm doing my best to air the case in the meantime.

The guitar is recommemded/priced towards the player, rather than the collector.

Boxed and protected the guitar inside the hardcase is likely to weigh around 12kg. It will be shipped by EMS (with tracking and insurance available up to the declared customs value of the guitar).
