Peavey Jack Daniels USA Signature 4-string Electric Bass w/Case black Daniel's cirrus

This is a rare bass. These were introduced at the 2005 Summer NAMM show by the Peavey USA custom shop as a special promotion with Jack Daniels--this is a 35 inch scale bass with a single Peavey VFL Cirrus pickup, and a 3 band, 18 volt Cirrus EQ which is dead quiet and very useful. Sort of like a G Bass, but without the carbon fiber neck. Tonewise, this is a very gutsy, punchy sounding instrument. It is in near mint condition. This bass was just played a few times in-store so it is considered to be New-Old-Stock (NOS). It has a couple light scratches from people trying it out but nothing worth highlighting. It is in excellent condition. The Jack Daniels logo is tastefully done! At the time of release, they carried an MSRP of $1500.

This specially designed instrument also features a unique electronics package with a single humbucking pickup, active electronics and stamped Old No. 7® knobs for volume (boost and cut) and tone (low, mid and high) adjustments.
