This DeArmond M-65 is a Les Paul style guitar made by Guild. It is in very good condition, plays and sounds great. It has the whole Les Paul thing going on. It has vintage American DeArmond made dual humbuckers, bolt-on neck.This player has an added new Black Gibson style pickguard installed!New Nickel Dunlop straploks installed! New Gibson Black Treble/Rhythym Switch Washer and new Black/Red Skull knobs installed.It comes with a nice Black SKB hardshell case in good condition with one bottom latch replaced. This is a very very under rated guitar with a sweet sound. If you ever played any of the old 60's Harmony rockets or Kay's you know about the DeArmond Gold Foil pickups. They were know for there great warm tones. These are not the Gold Foil pickups but still sound great especially when played through a tube amp and you will be blow away by the awesome tones you will get. This DeArmond Les Paul style guitar has a lot going for it!!!Guitar has no breaks or repairs, not stamped used or a 2nd and not a B-stock or blem model! These DeArmond guitars have not got the credit they well deserved as they are great players and the tones of the DeArmond pickups are hard to beat. And please realize that the price of shipping reflects the fact that this guitar comes in a case, so therefore it adds to the weight & size of the package. We at Rocking the Shack like guitars in cases, nice and safe! And are also big fans of strap locks! Pickguards are also nice. At the Shack we do tune ups and set ups but only when requested by customer. Unless, At times if we feel that a set up would really benefit an instrument then we just do it. Of course every guitar deserves a good set up with new strings At Rocking the Shack we keep climate control conditions all year round and the instruments live in a smoke free environment in their cases! As mentioned before we love cases and strap locks for the safety and protection they offer. Need we say more! Pick guards are also nice for protection of the body and when matched up right they can really can bring out a hidden beauty in an instrument!
