Fantasic ADA MP1 tube guitar preamp- rack 240V upgraded version- with a 3tube mod and MDRT transformer upgrade. My main MP1 for years, but age and work commitments mean a lot of my kit has to go! 3 tube mod gives a much more controllable gain and a much higher gain output from the unit- together with the MDRT transformer upgrade- delivering the correct voltage to the tubes for the correct bias and drive. Every sound rom the glassy solid state, to a wall of gain if needed- and every step in-between. Also said these were a more balanced, less fizzy sound than some other rack units that were around at the time. Made famous by man musicians and bands- especially any band that used Michael Wagener as producer- including Extreme, Skid Row, White Lion etc....Has some rack rash from the years, but nothing crazy- front panel works perfectly and it's just had the backup battery replaced.
