The Marauder is a bit of an oddball. Unconventional with its bolt-on maple neck, rosewood fingerboard, and Flying V-style headstock, it is equipped with a pair of pickups designed by Bill Lawrence. These pickups can deliver, depending on the settings, tones reminiscent of a Telecaster or more classic sounds from the Kalamazoo brand. A model that met with mixed success, Gibson is estimated to have produced around 8,000 units. On this example, one potentiometer and the tuners have been replaced (with Schaller units). Sold with a gig bag.
