AMEK DMCL DUAL WITH DIGI CARD 2000’s

For sale is this Amek DMCL Dual Preamp with digital card installed, compressor and HP and LP filter per channel in very good condition.

This preamp designed by Mr. Rupert Neve for Amek, bought second hand many years ago never left the studio since. It was fully revised* last year and is in great condition and ready for everything you want to record with it.

The Preamp is incredible, super low noise, with a gain stage from 6db to 66 (plus a trim with -12/+12) will let you record any source from the most high level snare to the most delicate acoustic and all in between.

And with the high impedance it has is perfect to record passive ribbons too!

The compressor is superb with 2 different settings that allow you to have a more modern or vintage kind of compression with attack and release variable per channel.

It also has variable High Pass and Low Pass filters per channel

This is the most complete dual Preamp (without full EQ) I know and have used. Really feel like having 2 channel strips in one machine. Just Amazing!!

* Note:

There's a small malfunction on the channel 2 gain pot. It just starts to work as it is supposed to at 30 db gain. When I made the revision I didn't ask for the pot replacement as this units have trim pot swith -12/+12 gain so you can adjust the gain using the trim pot if you want less than 30 db gain. Line input is not affected by this as it needs just the Line/trim pot. From 30 to 66 is just fine. you can always ask to change the pot. Other than that it's perfect.

The price reflects this issue.
