Farfisa FX-1000 - vintage pocket sound module expander synth made in Italy! Rare silver edition! With software and power supply!

We are selling this super rare and vintage Farfisa FX-1000, micro midi expander made in Italy!

CONDITION:This Farfisa FX-1000 is fully working. It’s sold with a compatible power supply. Cosmetically there are several scratches on the surface (please, check all photos) but they are only cosmetic as the instrument works perfectly! Real vintage gem: grab a bargain!

DESCRIPTION: The FX-1000 'Pocket Farfisa' is an incredible sound module that contains a General MIDI sound set and a Farfisa Vintage section where some of the great instruments of the past are available for you to listen to and hear!

The unit offers 64-note polyphony, 128 GM sounds, 10 GM Drum Kits and 7 built-in digital effects. You can connect it via USB to your computer or via MIDI and listen through the analog stereo output.

The FX-1000 is also tiny and small enough to fit into your pocket!

IMPORTANT:

In addition to the 128 internal sounds, it's possible to play the sounds of some historical instruments such as the Farfisa SoundMaker through the “Farfisa Vintage” software. Unfortunately the software for the additional sounds only runs on some old versions of Windows (it does not work on Mac/OS) so the additional sounds have not been tested as we can’t install the software.

By the way, if you use Windows, we can send a file via email to try to install the “Farfisa Vintage software” on your PC and try to test also the additional sounds. When we have sold other FX-1000s in the past the software has always worked well. However, we can’t be sure that it is compatible with your version of Windows. We can’t be sure that the software will run on your PC.

In any case, the expander can also be used without PC: we have tested the 128 internal sounds without PC and they are very beautiful! Super collector’s item!  Due to the small number of units made and their limited distribution area, at present it’s really difficult to find one of these small pieces of expander. And it’s even more difficult to find this unique rare silver edition (usually they are black)! Farfisa was the legendary Italian brand that produced many legendary instruments! It was based in Marche, Italy, in the same area where brand Elka, Elgam, Eko, Viscount, Crumar, FBT, Jen, Siel, Solton, CRB, etc. were born.
