Inspired by the high reputation that Yamaha drums and hardware are among the most requested and reliable in the world-class music festival scene, the Yamaha Drum Design Team created the Yamaha Drum Series in a traditional satin-finish maple shell. We have developed "Tour Custom". The Tour Custom is an all-maple shell made from North American and European maple, with a beautiful heathered finish on both the outer and inner layers, and his absolute, which combines the bright, gorgeous, spacious sound and expressive tone that are the characteristics of maple wood. This is a series that continues the tradition of the series.

The tour custom uses North American maple for the outer and inner plies, and European maple for the center ply, and has a 6-ply 5.6mm shell thickness with a bearing edge of 45°/R1.5. We have achieved a bright and warm sound, a deep tone, a quick rise in sound, and a sound with appropriate sustain. A lineup of 5 new colors with a beautiful satin finish, the satin finish brings out the unique sound of maple shells.

(Y.E.S.S. Mount System)

Adopts Yamaha's original "Y.E.S.S. (Yamaha Enhanced Sustain System)" which minimizes the contact area with the shell. It has a wide dynamic range and brings out rich shell sounds.

(Inverse Dyna Hoop (2.3mm))

The newly developed 2.3mm inverse dyna hoop uses an inward winding type, which is the opposite of the conventional dyna hoop (outward winding). Controls natural overtones and brings out the original sound character of the shell material.

(Absolute Lug)

Adopts an absolute lug that transmits the full resonance of the hitting surface without inhibiting shell vibration.
