What's the deal with refurbished?

The Starfire IV ST features a modern Tune-O-Matic bridge on a thin, double-cutaway semi-hollow mahogany body graced with a 3-pc mahogany/maple set neck. The neck profile is moderate U at the nut and tapers up nicely to give you something to dig into as you execute string bends and single-note passages farther up the neck. The LB-1 “Little Bucker” pickups deliver incredibly musical, vocal tones. There is lots of depth but at the same time plenty of clarity and bite. With the tone full on, they have a beautiful rasp and grown. Rolling back the tone warms them up without loss of character. We really dig them.
This particular guitar has a few very small grey flecks in the clearcoat on the top. Aside from what we have described, this instrument is in mint condition.
How Does It Play?
We have given this guitar a nice pro setup to make sure it is playing its best with low, fast action free of fretbuzz. The string action measures 5/64" on the low E at the 12th fret and 4/64" on the high E. The neck is straight, the hardware and electronics are 100% and the guitar is fully ready to go.
The included Guild hardshell case is brand new and manufactured by TKL specially for the Guild Starfire models to make sure it provides the perfect fit!
