If you've been considering picking up a certain popular Korg reissue, now would be the time to do it. Korg has just listed a limited number of brand-new ARP 2600 FS synths in the Korg USA Reverb Direct Shop—for $4,499.99.
The Korg ARP 2600 FS is the brand's replica of the original beloved synth from the 1970s. It's handcrafted in Japan and features USB and DIN-style MIDI connections and XLR audio outputs. It also features an improved ARP 3620 Duophonic Keyboard with an added arpeggiator/sequencer.
Originally released in 2020, these units sold out in record time. It's been difficult to find a brand-new example since, and if you've been keeping an eye used prices, you'll know that they've grown steep. ARP 2600 FS models have been selling on Reverb for over five, six, and even seven thousand dollars. Some listings currently on the site are priced even closer to (and in some cases, over) 10 grand.
This current drop of new units directly from Korg is very limited and will only be available to US customers, but it could be your last chance to get a brand-new unit at a price that hasn't been affected by its own steep demand.
