Korg Releases 2 Full-Size Opsix Synths

Seeing double? Not quite, but the Opsix is back, bigger, and now available in two full-size formats.

The Opsix SE and Opsix SE Platinum are 61-key wonders. Each offers a premium design, full-sized keybed with aftertouch, and increased polyphony and voicing compared to the smaller original Opsix.

Opsix SE and Opsix SE Platinum

Available exclusively from the Korg USA Reverb Direct shop, the Opsix SE Platinum has a chassis built with a sleek aluminum front panel and stainless steel side panels to complete the Platinum look. These are available in limited quantities, and only while supplies last, exclusively on Reverb.

Like the original Opsix, both of the SEs include the Operator Mixer, which turns the notoriously tricky FM style of synthesis into a user-friendly workflow.

The SEs' natural-touch keyboards offer a wider, richer feel than the original's mini-keybed, which—along with the robust body and included hard-shell case—makes the new keyboards exceptionally gig-worthy.

They also come preloaded with hundreds of sounds, while allowing users to load additional libraries and user-generated samples via software.
