We've already dropped by the Harmony Guitars booth here at the NAMM convention for a look at the new Harmony Juno guitar, but that isn't all the brand brought to the convention to show of for 2020. Also new this year is a guitar called the Comet.
Like the previously covered Juno, the Comet will be joining Harmony's Standard Series. It's modern recreation of Harmony's 1960s H-72 and is the first semi-hollow model the brand has released since its relaunch in 2018.
Also a first in the Standard Series, the Comet features a set-neck design, which is 25 inches, made of mahogany, and married to a double-cutaway mahogany body that's smaller and contoured for better playability. Electronics-wise, its outfitted with a pair of Harmony's proprietary gold foil pickups, tuned for a warmer and fuller tone, controlled by a three-way selector switch and single volume and tone knobs.
Be sure to stay tuned and follow the Harmony Comet on Reverb for notification when it's available. For more news from the NAMM floor, click the orange banner below.
