This is a vintage Fender 1974 Jazz Bass Neck. 3 bolt Tilt, Maple with pearl blocks. The neck is in overall great condition, but as you can see the truss was overworked and the rod popped through the first fret space. I’ve been told this is a fairly easy fix by a couple of reputable luthiers, but I don’t have the time to deal with a repair currently, and I already have other 70’s Jazz Basses. It will play as is, but obviously not ideal to have a raised/cracked first fret space to play around. After repair, you’d have an excellent piece of vintage fender bass gear. Selling this for parts, as-is. No returns. Always open to trades.
*** I also have the fully loaded 1974 body that went along with this neck. It is posted in another listing. I would do a better deal for the complete bass than you’d pay for them separately. Message me with any questions or offers.
