With the Profiler Rack MK 2, Kemper unveils the next generation of its acclaimed amp modeling technology – now in a practical and robust 19" rack format. Visually true to the original, this updated model introduces a wealth of new features tailored to meet the demands of studio professionals, live performers, and producers alike. Alongside noticeably enhanced performance, the MK 2 brings more effects, expanded routing, faster preset switching, and a powerful USB audio interface with eight channels for seamless multitrack recording and re-amping. Compact yet comprehensive, the Profiler Rack MK 2 is the ultimate all-in-one solution for any rack-based rig.

At the core of the MK 2 lies a greatly enhanced effects engine with up to 20 effect blocks, including seven brand-new slots. These include a second Noise Gate, Compressor, Wah-Wah, Vintage Chorus, Air Chorus, and a Double Tracker, enabling richly layered and expressive sound design. Effects can be freely arranged in any order and adjusted via dedicated controls and screen-based navigation. The internal looper has also been improved, now offering up to two minutes of recording time – ideal for practice loops, songwriting, or live improvisation.

A standout feature of the Profiler Rack MK 2 is its native USB audio interface with eight channels, enabling multitrack recording, re-amping, or direct DAW integration without additional hardware. Alongside this, Kemper introduces Liquid Profiling, a revolutionary upgrade capturing over 100,000 frequency points per profile for even more precise amp replication. With this breakthrough, the gain structure and tone controls of the original amplifier are more faithfully reproduced than ever – pushing digital profiling to new heights.

Despite its new capabilities, the MK 2 retains the intuitive, knob-driven interface users have come to trust, with direct access to essential functions for smooth operation on stage or in the studio. Startup time has been significantly improved to around 20 seconds, and preset switching is faster – especially useful in Performance Mode.
