Conn tenor trombone; model: Director 50H. Serial number 611427, from 1987. Small shank.
Amazing vintage trombone, made in USA, great for an intermediate player and in need of a full setup in order to be in its best condition.
Very good quality instrument by notable maker Conn. Versatile, excellent for jazz, but also for classical music; great for a concert band or as a marching horn.
Good and endurable metal, overall quality materials and excellent sonority; allowing a large and continuous progress to the player.
Excellent step up intermediate model trigger trombone and first time F-attachment for the intermediate student. The rotor is smooth and fast, the slide is in good condition and the water key is working well.
It has a bit more serious dent on the F tuning slide; the bell is bent and has some dents on its tube. There are also some small dents alongside the instrument.
The instrument shows some scratches and signs of usage only due to its age, but nothing serious to report.
As referred before, and even though it’s already playing decently, this instrument needs a full setup and some repairment so that it can play at its full potential.
The trombone is being sold with the case, which is the original one from the instrument.
The instrument is being sold because it’s not being played anymore by its owner.
